The Cane Creek Tragic is a Southern, Hard-Rock “Scrap” Metal band from East Tennessee, located in the Scenic Sequatchie Valley.

Formed in 2014 in Pikeville, TN, the band features founders Caleb Scarborough (lead vocals, slide guitar), Brandon Blaylock (vocals, rhythm guitars), Logan Walling (drums, percussion), and newcomers Steven Standefer (lead guitars) & Matt Colvard (bass guitars). Stylistically, TCCT features twangy guitars, Southern rhythms, and faith-based lyrics dealing with the everyday struggles of life as well as the wonderings and philosophies of the human condition. TCCT fits with bands ranging from the modern, groove-metal sounds of Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, complexities of Mastodon, and hard rock edge of Black Stone Cherry, Stone Temple Pilots, Alice in Chains to the Southern classics of The Charlie Daniels Band and Lynyrd Skynyrd - in addition to the “classic” thrash of metal pioneers Pantera and Metallica. TCCT also believes in the Reigning Blood of the Red Back Hymnal. The Cane Creek Tragic, are open for booking for a variety of events, ranging from private parties, county fairs and tractor pulls to club venues and festivals alike. The Cane Creek Tragic are signed to Sancrosanct Records.
